Nykiya Adams is a hugely exciting young Actor. At only 12 years old she was discovered at school by the casting team working on Andrea Arnold’s (Fish Tank, American Honey) highly anticipated next feature film ‘BIRD’. Nykiya went on to star as the leading role – Bailey – alongside Barry Keogan, Franz Rogowski and Jasmine Jobson. Her performance was highly praised and Nykiya won the Young British/Irish Performer of the Year at the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards and Best Newcomer at the National Film Awards. She was also recognised as a part of the British Independent Film Awards where she was nominated in the Breakthrough Performance category.
