Jax James broke into the acting industry at the young age of 7 years old.  He made his professional debut in ITV’s major returning drama Belgravia: The Next Chapter (Carnival Films, MGM+).

In 2025, Jax landed a series regular role in the Paramount+ adaptation of Little Disasters, playing the central child character Frankie, opposite Diane Kruger, Jo Joyner, Shelley Conn and JJ Feild. The series was released on Paramount+ in both the UK and the US. The same year, Jax was chosen out of 10,000 actors to play another leading role in the upcoming fantasy feature film The Stolen Child, directed by Sebastian McKinnon and co-written by Sebastian and Liam McKinnon. In the film, Jax stars as The Prince.

Most recently, Jax shot a major leading role in CBS pilot ‘The Tillbrooks’ and the much-loved ITV drama Grantchester in a recurring role for its upcoming final season. He will also appear in Morten Tyldum’s upcoming feature Ibelin.
