Sophie Vavasseur is an Irish actress best known for her award-nominated lead role as Evelyn Doyle in the film Evelyn opposite Pierce Brosnan, as well as starring roles in Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Becoming Jane alongside Anne Hathaway. Since then, she has worked across film and television, including a recurring role on Vikings and a lead role in Bring It On: Worldwide for Universal Pictures. Sophie also appeared in John Carney’s last two projects, Flora and Son and the upcoming Power Ballad. Most recently, she has appeared in Walk The Blue Fields for Netflix and The Riders for A24.
